1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all websites, learning platforms, programs, and services offered by Acadex Institute of Development FZ-LLC (“Acadex”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
We are a licensed education provider registered in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) under license number 52000354, operating from:
FOAM 1874, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone – FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
- You must be at least 16 years old to use our platforms. Users under 18 require verified parental or guardian consent.
- You must not access our services if you are located in a UAE-sanctioned country or are otherwise legally prohibited.
- All information provided during registration must be truthful, current, and complete.
3. Children and Minors
We do not knowingly permit users under the age of 13 to create accounts. If you are aged 13–17, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your participation. Violations may result in account suspension or data deletion in accordance with UAE data protection law.
4. Services Provided
Acadex offers online learning and professional development services through:
- Interactive courses on our LMS platform
- Professional development programs and certifications
- Student and academic services
- Secure online payments
- Digital certificate issuance
- Communication and support tools
5. Digital Certificates
Learners who complete eligible programs receive a free digital certificate (PDF format) that can be downloaded directly from the platform.
An optional printed certificate may be requested for a minimal service fee, which covers handling, packaging, and shipping.
6. Payments and Refunds
6.1 Payment Terms
All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways. Charges are billed in AED or USD and may include applicable UAE taxes.
6.2 Refund Eligibility
Refunds are granted only under these conditions:
- Online Courses:
- You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of enrollment, provided no more than 20% of the course has been accessed.
- Once a course is substantially accessed or completed, no refund is available.
- Printed Certificates or Products:
- Refunds are allowed only for:
- Items damaged in transit (proof required within 7 days), or
- Incorrect billing due to a system error.
- Live Sessions or Workshops:
- A full refund is possible if cancellation is submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
- No-shows or late cancellations are not refundable.
6.3 Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Administrative or registration fees
- Platform access charges
- Customized services or coaching
- Group packages (see 6.5 below)
6.4 How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted via our official Refund Request Form, available on our website. Requests will be reviewed and processed within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6.5 B2B Clients and Institutional Enrollments
Organizations or businesses (“B2B Clients”) enrolling employees or members are subject to the following additional terms:
- Customized Programs: Non-refundable once the program is confirmed and access is granted.
- Minimum Commitment Periods: Early withdrawal from volume packages or contractual enrollments is non-refundable.
- Substitutions: One participant substitution is permitted prior to program access.
- Request Authority: Only an authorized organizational representative may request a refund.
6.6 Waiver of Refund Right for Digital Access (EU/UK Compliance)
By enrolling in a course and starting access to digital materials, you expressly agree to waive your statutory right to a 14-day withdrawal period, in accordance with applicable EU and UK consumer law. This allows Acadex to begin service delivery immediately.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Acadex platforms only for lawful and educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Share your login credentials
- Copy, distribute, or record course materials
- Upload malware or misuse system resources
- Disrupt or interfere with other users' access
Violations may result in immediate suspension or legal action.
8. Learning Platform Code of Conduct
All users of our LMS platform are expected to:
- Uphold academic integrity
- Participate respectfully in all discussions and assignments
- Avoid sharing or distributing copyrighted materials
- Use the platform in accordance with UAE digital conduct laws
9. Data Privacy and Protection
We handle personal data in accordance with:
- UAE Federal Data Protection Law
- RAKEZ privacy regulations
- EU GDPR (for users located in the European Union)
Your data will only be used to deliver Acadex services and improve user experience. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Intellectual Property
All course content, images, designs, text, and branding are the property of Acadex or our licensors. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any materials without written permission.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Acadex provides learning services “as is.” We do not guarantee that the content is free from errors or that completion will result in job placement, promotions, or legal equivalency. Access may occasionally be disrupted due to system maintenance or technical failures.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed under UAE law, Acadex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platforms or services.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute shall first be referred to the Ras Al Khaimah Centre for Reconciliation and Commercial Arbitration (RCCRA).
If not resolved within 60 days, it shall then be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
14. Modifications to the Terms
Acadex may revise these Terms periodically. Changes will take effect once posted to our website. Your continued use of our services implies acceptance of any updates.

For all official matters, including refund claims, users must use the designated forms on our website.
Acadex does not publish customer service or legal department email addresses to prevent spam and misuse.
